Veteran Insurance Pro to Lead Institutional Investment Products

INDIANAPOLIS – (January 26, 2017) OneAmerica® has named industry veteran Marty Fleischman, CFA®, as vice president of Institutional Investment Products. The New Jersey native, with more than three decades’ of experience in financial services, previously was an executive at Mutual of Omaha and Pacific Life.

Fleischman will be responsible for expanding the OneAmerica guaranteed product offerings, initially focusing on Stable Value Wrap (synthetic Guaranteed Income Contracts) for the defined contribution market.  Wraps are contracts that protect a fund's bond portfolios from interest rate volatility and can guarantee participants will receive the funds' book value even during market turmoil.

Fleischman earned his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was assistant vice president from 1994 to 2009 at Pacific Life Insurance Company, and moved to Mutual of Omaha as vice president of product management for the Retirement Plans Division from 2009 to 2016.

Since 2004 he has held the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) credential, one of the most respected and recognized investment management designations. He reports to Andy Wilkinson, Senior Vice President and Managing Principal.
