Quicken®FAQ


Quicken® is personal financial management software* that allows you to manage your accounts on your personal computer. We are pleased to offer you the option to download your account using Quicken's Direct Connect feature. Below you will find answers to some frequently asked questions. [Top]Can I download from either Quicken’s Direct Connect or Web Connect?

We support Quicken’s Direct Connect only. Direct Connect allows you to download transactions directly into Quicken without logging on to your account at www.accountservices.aul.com.

[Top]What client ID and PIN should I use to access my account in Quicken?

The client ID and PIN for your account in Quicken is the same as your Account Services username and password.

[Top]What version of Quicken do I need?

We support downloads for Quicken versions currently supported by Quicken/Intuit. Please note that Quicken Basic does not support 401(k) or 403(b) retirement accounts.

Yes, we support downloads into Quicken for Mac.

[Top]How do I download transactions using Quicken's Direct Connect?

Information on downloading transactions via Direct Connect can be found in the support section of the Quicken/Intuit web site, http://quicken.intuit.com/support.

[Top]How should I classify my retirement accounts?

Retirement account investments should be classified under “Other Investments” in Quicken.

[Top]How much data is available for download?

On your first download, Quicken will download the last 90 days worth of transactions. Subsequent downloads will only include new transactions.

[Top] Why does the register show a negative cash balance?

Your retirement plan account was incorrectly created as a brokerage account. Either edit the cash balance and change it to $0 or delete the entire account and follow Quicken’s instructions for setting up a 401(k) or 403(b).

[Top] Where can I find the ticker symbols for my AUL Retirement Services investment options?

There are no ticker symbols associated with your investment options because they are not publicly traded. This field can be left blank within Quicken.

[Top]Can I download my annuitized distribution into Quicken?

Quicken does not accept the download of annuity payout contracts.
