OneAmerica® names Dennis Martin and Jim McGovern Senior Vice Presidents

OneAmerica® today announced two internal promotions to key senior leadership positions.  Dennis Martin will become senior vice president, product and business development, and Jim McGovern will become senior vice president, Employee Benefits.

The announcement follows a period of record growth for OneAmerica. Strong sales across all divisions and the largest acquisition in the company’s history in 2015 have added $25.8 billion in assets under administration, while GAAP revenues have grown to a record $2 billion.

 “It’s not often that OneAmerica elevates people to the senior vice president level, but we’re keenly focused on recognizing and developing our associates – our most important assets.  These promotions acknowledge the major contributions that Dennis and Jim are already making as senior leaders.”

Martin joined OneAmerica in February, 2009 as vice president of financial operations, coming from Western & Southern Financial Group, where he was assistant vice president of planning and product development. He has played a key role in bringing products to market and driving the Individual Life and Financial Services division’s significant growth.

McGovern began his career at OneAmerica in April, 2012 as vice president of sales, coming from Cigna, where he was regional sales manager. Under his leadership, sales have doubled in the Employee Benefits division of OneAmerica, with 2016 results far-exceeding projections.
