Seventh-Annual ASPIRE Awards Honor 12 OneAmerica® Associates
Indianapolis, February 22, 2021
Twelve associates have been recognized by OneAmerica® as ASPIRE honorees as a result of their outstanding performance during a difficult year on behalf of the life insurance, retirement and employee benefits organization.
The associates were honored at the company’s seventh-annual ASPIRE Awards banquet, held virtually on Feb. 17. The ASPIRE principles — Achievement, Stewardship, Partnership, Integrity, Responsiveness and Excellence — guide more than 2,200 OneAmerica associates in all work endeavors. This year 318 individuals were nominated by 243 peers, supervisors or project partners for the annual honor.
“Our commitment ─ to be there for our customers and policyholders when it matters most — was never more evident than in 2020,” said Scott Davison, chairman, president and CEO of OneAmerica. “During the pandemic everyone stepped up, but these 12 honorees in particular delivered remarkable and sustained performance that kept us going strong. Their positive energy and resilience inspired others and helped us navigate through many challenges, both large and small.”
David Rainbolt, senior director of infrastructure, IT, was presented with the ASPIRE Distinguished Achievement honor. Already an IBJ Tech 2020 recipient, he was instrumental in helping ensure a smooth transition for associates forced to work remotely when the pandemic disrupted normal in-office routines last March.
The ASPIRE Excellence in Execution honorees are: Stephanie Kaiser, Human Resources benefits manager; Kyle Starnes, senior financial analyst, Retirement Services; and Michelle Steele, vice president of customer experience, Enterprise Marketing Communications.
The ASPIRE Excellence in Partnership honorees are Javier Allen, regional sales manager with Individual Life and Financial Services; and Frederick Larmore, relationship director, Retirement Services.
The ASPIRE Outstanding Team Impact honorees are: Matt Sadowski, transition solutions manager, Retirement Services; Greg Ruthsatz, planning and execution manager, Individual Life and Financial Services; and Jen Pittman, vice president, enterprise communications and community affairs, Enterprise Marketing Communications.
The ASPIRE Outstanding Leadership honorees are Jodie Rossell, director of business analysis, IT; and Craig Lehman, vice president of structured securities, Investments.
Director of Corporate Security Kevin Deane was recognized for a special ASPIRE Stewardship honor for his efforts to keep associates safe at the OneAmerica Tower and at OneAmerica offices around the country. Deane, Kaiser, Steele and Pittman are all also members of the Emergency Coordination and Communication team that led enterprise planning and execution efforts during the pandemic response.
The ASPIRE Awards program was created in 2014 to celebrate top-performing OneAmerica associates who live our ASPIRE values and have demonstrated a consistent track record of success serving our customers and financial professionals.
